It's really about Qualifications

Nancy Schultz Voots, Will County Clerk, is not your typical elected official. She has over 30 years of "hands-on" experience performing the many multifaceted duties of the County Clerks office.

Right out of high school, Nancy Schultz Voots went to work for legendary County Clerk, Clara Hartley Woodard. After Clara passed away Nancy stayed on and worked for County Clerk Jan Gould.  During her almost 30 years in the Clerk's Office, Nancy performed almost every job in each department of the County Clerks Office. She's managed or helped manage and administer every federal, state, and local election since 1975 and has been responsible for preparation of ballots, training election judges, securing polling places and all other election related duties. She's worked in all major functional areas of the office including preparation for elections, vital records (marriage, death and birth certificates, genealogy, issuing marriage licenses, etc.), voter registrations, accounts payable, tax extension, and County Board records. Nancy's work ethic and her intimate knowledge of the Clerk's Office uniquely qualifies her to continue to be our County Clerk.

Nancy's County Clerk's experience, leadership, her commitment to our community, and her love of family attracted voters from all over Will County to elect her County Clerk in 2002. She received the endorsements of many local police, firefighters, teachers, and labor organizations and the endorsement of our Sheriff, Brendan Ward and from retired County Clerk Jan Gould.

In 2010 please re-elect a candidate who does not need "on-the-job-training". Let's re-elect someone with the experience to continue to get the job done. Re-elect Nancy Schultz Voots for County Clerk--but do yourself a favor, I still wouldn't pick her to be on your soccer team.
